When Erika and Michael suggested the Brecksville Reservation for their engagement photoshoot, we had no idea we were in for such a great experience. Having never been there before, we knew we wanted to stalk the location a little bit beforehand. After a few google searches, we became so excited to have the chance to shoot there. (It’s sort of funny that sometimes we don’t realize what gems are hiding right in our backyard. When we visited Letchworth State park, New York, for an engagement shoot in 2022 we talked with so many people, even locals, who had never been to this AMAZING place, and so many people from neighboring states who never even knew it existed. And we have to say…it’s incredible.) With that, the Brecksville Reservation was another example of a new place we got to experience, and we quickly learned why Erika and Michael love frequenting this beautiful location. It has since become one of our top places to suggest to couples from this particular area who don’t already have a location in mind.
The crisp breeze swept through the trees, and the evening sun painted the landscape in hues of gold against the gorgeous yellow, orange, and crimson foliage. It was the PERFECT canvas for Erika and Michael’s engagement session. The trails meandered through a kaleidoscope of colors, making each step a journey into the heart of fall’s magnificence.
We had such a great time capturing the love of this beautiful couple, and left the session with full hearts looking forward to celebrating their wedding day with them.
