Kennedy and Sheldon’s winter wedding was a beautiful event that took place in January at St. Francis De Sales church. Despite being in Ohio in January, the weather was surprisingly warm-ish, with no snow in sight.
The bride’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect of her wedding day, from the stunning invitations with intricate gold lettering, to elegant jewelry and wedding rings, posh shoes, and the beautiful white blooms and lush greenery.
The couple chose an emerald green, deep burgundy, and navy blue color scheme for their wedding, which beautifully complemented the deep moody vibes that Ohio gives during its winter months. Kennedy looked absolutely breathtaking in her sparkling white, mermaid cut gown. The dress was adorned with intricate lace details and shimmering beadwork that caught the light beautifully, adding a touch of glamour to her overall look. Her long cathedral length veil completed the picture-perfect ensemble, cascading down her back and trailing long behind her as she walked. Sheldon looked as if he had walked straight off the cover of GQ in his navy suit with a white shirt and bowtie.
As the ceremony began, guests were filled with anticipation as the wedding party made their way down the aisle. The bride was escorted by her father, and the groom was overcome with emotion as he watched her approach. The couple exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends, and it was a truly amazing moment.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the warm weather and took some beautiful photos outside the church. The natural light was perfect for capturing the couple’s love and joy.
The reception took place at Guy’s Party Center, and it was an elegant affair. The tables were adorned with white linen tablecloths, emerald green napkins, and beautiful white florals and greenery that added a touch of elegance and freshness to the decor and perfectly matched the color scheme. The couple’s initials were displayed on the dance floor in twinkling lights, adding to the romantic ambiance.
As the evening progressed, the guests danced the night away, and the couple was the center of attention. They looked so happy and in love, and it was a joy to capture these moments on camera.
Kennedy and Sheldon’s winter wedding was a beautiful event that was made even more special by the warm January weather. The color scheme, the stunning church, the happy couple, and the joyful guests all combined to create a magical experience. It was an honor for us to be their photographers and capture these special moments they will cherish for a lifetime.
