Joe & Lauren | A Downtown Akron Engagement

When we first met Joe and Lauren at Artisan Coffee, we knew we were in for a lot of fun. Their cute and playful personalities, and genuine connection made us instantly excited to capture their love story through our lenses.

We began our engagement session at the Akron Art Museum, a location that perfectly complemented the ‘dressed up’ part of their session. The museum’s interesting and beautiful architecture and grounds were the perfect backdrop for this couple’s ability to turn on their vogue and pose like they were professional models. We always love it when this happens.

As the session progressed, we ventured away from the museum, capturing the energy and vitality of the city that mirrored Joe and Lauren’s vibrant personalities. Amidst the bustling streets, we found a couple hidden gems that became the perfect settings for their romantic moments.

After a quick outfit change, we headed to the top of a nearby parking deck. Here, Joe and Lauren embraced a more casual style, reflecting their carefree nature and playful sides. With the panoramic view of Akron’s Canal Park as our backdrop, we captured their infectious laughter, spontaneous dance moves, and hilarious insides jokes.

As the session started to come to a close, we made our way down to Canal Park to wrap up. We captured a few more photos as the sun got lower, and laughed about how much fun we had together. We can’t wait to be a part of their upcoming wedding and capture even more cherished memories for them to treasure forever.
