Summer Night Portage Lakes Engagement

Serindipity first met this stunning Elizabethtown, KY pair via a FaceTime and we instantly fell in love with them. We couldn’t wait to finally connect and photograph them in person. Their charming and playful dispositions, coupled with their innate ability to turn on their ‘Vogue’ at any given moment gave their photos so much personality and beauty.

Kennedy and Sheldon are a shining example of “good things can happen if you trust your photographers.” 🙂 We asked these two to step out on a limb and let us photograph them in a parking lot…..next to a dumpster. It may sound crazy to you, as we are sure it did to them, but in that moment the light was breathtaking in that area, and we know we could strategically place them and capture images that would make anyone believe we were at a beautiful park (if we hadn’t just showed you our hand.) If we had never told you, you’d never know we were next to dumpsters and standing in beds of mulch.

As the evening went on, the sun softened and dripped its honey-gold rays into perfect ambiance allowing us to make our way towards the lake.

We weren’t kidding! This is right where we had them and you’d never know! 😉
