Some wedding days feel extra special—not just because of how beautiful they are, but because of how full they feel. Full of meaning. Full of emotion. Full of moments you don’t want to rush past.
Abby and Joe’s wedding day at Windows on the River in downtown Cleveland was exactly that—and it’s also a perfect glimpse into what a day looks like when you invite us in. We’re intentional, yes—but also deeply journalistic. We’re there for the big, unforgettable moments and the quiet in-betweens. The deep breaths before the ceremony. The glances exchanged when no one else is watching. The joy that unfolds naturally. Abby and Joe gave us a day that held all of it.
From the very beginning, Abby was all smiles. The kind of joy you can’t fake and don’t want to miss for even a second. She looked like an absolute dream—radiant, glowing, effortlessly elegant—and that happiness stayed with her all day long. It was contagious in the best way.

One of the most meaningful things about this day is how much of Abby and Joe’s story lives at the Arcade and East 4th in downtown Cleveland. Joe proposed to Abby just outside the entrance to the Arcade, we captured their engagement photos inside the Arcade, and before the ceremony we photographed their first look there as well. That space holds so many key and precious moments for them—making it a true full-circle moment. 🥹
When Abby and Joe finally saw each other, the moment was raw and emotional in the most beautiful way. Joyful tears, excited laughter, and an intimacy that made it feel like the rest of the world disappeared. You could see it so clearly—best friends, deeply connected, stepping into forever together.
Their ceremony followed with that same sense of intention and heart. Officiated by a close friend who knows them so well, every word felt personal, thoughtful, and sincere. Not to brush over the moments or laughter that filled the room! It wasn’t rushed or overdone—it was warm, meaningful, and deeply reflective of who Abby and Joe are. One of those ceremonies where you look around and see guests wiping their eyes while smiling at the same time.
And then… the reception.
Truly, hands down, the best reception we have ever photographed.
The reception space at Windows on the River in Cleveland was completely transformed. Every detail felt elevated, cohesive, and thoughtfully designed. Abby’s mom played an instrumental role in bringing the vision to life—curating an incredible team of vendors and working closely with them every step of the way. Her attention to detail, clear vision, and hands-on approach allowed each vendor’s expertise to shine, resulting in a space that felt both stunning and seamless. It was the perfect example of what happens when vision and collaboration come together beautifully.
But the moment that set the tone for the entire night?
The Lebanese entrance.
It was electric.
A full Lebanese drum line. Nonstop dancing. Smoke. Lights. Music pounding. Energy absolutely exploding through the room. Goosebumps-level amazing. The kind of moment where jaws drop, phones come out, and the entire room comes alive all at once.
And that energy never faded. The night flowed effortlessly—heartfelt speeches that reminded everyone exactly why Abby and Joe are so loved, followed by a delicious dinner to recharge. Then the party roared right back to life. Dancing, laughter, celebration, and pure joy filled the room. Late-night pita snacks made their way onto the dance floor, and a coffee bar kept everyone energized well into the night—because this crowd was not slowing down anytime soon.
Simply put:
Abby and Joe threw the best reception ever.
Their wedding day was the perfect mix of emotion, beauty, culture, intention, and absolute FUN. We are so honored to have been part of it and to witness a love like theirs—deep, joyful, and full of life.
